Lithium Battery Heat Shields

Freudenberg Sealing Technologies offers heat shields for lithium battery systems, enhancing safety by blocking heat transfer during cell malfunctions. These shields, made of ultra-thermally stable silicon rubber, are lightweight, compressible, and maintain shape under high temperatures. They prevent thermal propagation, protecting neighboring cells from explosions. The design features a waffle-like structure for insulation, and complies with UL94 V0 standards.
