Simmerring® BAUM RF – an Efficient Sealing Solution For High Speeds

The new Simmerring® BAUM RF (RF = Reduced Friction) is a targeted modification of the classic BAUM design and features a spring with reduced radial force. This adjustment minimizes friction at the sealing lip and reduces the thermal load on both the elastomer and the lubricant – particularly at high circumferential shaft speeds. The result: improved energy efficiency and an extended seal service life.
