Merkel Radiamatic R 35 and R 55 Simmerring® shaft seals are designed to ensure reliable performance of wind turbine main bearings. These seals prevent lubricant leakage and protect against environmental degradation, functioning effectively across a wide temperature range. The R 35, made from HNBR or NBR, has a proven track record, while the R 55 offers enhanced protection with a deflector lip. They provide perfect protection, high sealing function, and are compact, wear-resistant, and suitable for large shaft diameters.
