Extractables EPDM-Benchmark

In the food and pharmaceutical industries, purity is crucial, and traditional certifications may not suffice. Freudenberg conducted a benchmark study on EPDM materials, revealing their superior suitability for sensitive applications due to lower total organic carbon (TOC) levels. Their materials showed fewer extractables compared to competitors, offering better sealing value and system security. Freudenberg also tested FFKM and Fluoroprene® XP materials, which exhibited even lower TOC values.
