Definitely the Right Connection

It is impossible to conceive of modern engines without Plug & Seal and Plug & Tube Seal connectors from Freudenberg Sealing Technologies.

Plug & Seal and Plug & Tube Seal connectors from Freudenberg Sealing Technologies ensure that liquids and gases inside the engines of cars and commercial vehicle engines can be moved leak-free. They therefore make an important contribution to reduced fuel consumption and emissions in the internal combustion engines of these vehicles. A new product video now being shown by Freudenberg Sealing Technologies highlights the functions of Plug & Seals and Plug & Tube Seals and their advantages to the customer.

Progress in engine efficiency, fuel consumption and pollution emissions requires multifaceted ancillary and auxiliary assemblies, which are securely and reliably integrated into the overall system with the help of Freudenberg sealing solutions. The connectors can integrate several connecting components and functions into a single element and compensate for axial displacement between ancillary assemblies and the engine block. They can also be mounted quickly and easily.

There’s no way to get around the water and oil circuits in today’s internal combustion engines. The electric oil pump is one example of an application. Plug & Seals from Freudenberg are also the first choice when it comes to electric mobility and hybrids, for example, for the high-performance thermal management of battery technology.

Plug & Seals and Plug & Tube Seals also create secure connections on turbochargers – for the simultaneous acoustical and mechanical decoupling of components. Thanks to the material diversity of the carrier piece and the elastomer, Plug & Seals and Plug & Tube Seals are suited to nearly any application or any medium – even under high pressures and at temperatures up to 480 °F. The crucial factor is in-depth material know-how, one of the core competencies of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies.

For example, PTFE is well-suited as a material when high temperatures prevail, as is the case in turbochargers. High temperatures are also found in exhaust systems. With the greatest possible media resistance, Plug & Seals and Plug & Tube Seals even seal reliably against aggressive blow-by gases from low-pressure and high-pressure exhaust gas recirculation.
