International Suppliers Fair (IZB)

The International Suppliers Fair (IZB) is aimed at suppliers to the automotive industry and is highly regarded among international experts. The high quality of the exhibitors and the number of decision-makers among the trade visitors make the fair an important communication and business platform for the industry. What began in 2001 as an in-house exhibition for Volkswagen AG with 128 exhibitors from six countries and 13,500 visitors has now established itself as a showcase for the international supplier industry. The three days of the IZB for trade visitors were always accompanied by numerous events. High-caliber congresses, conferences, and forums address current topics relating to the automotive market.

Freudenberg Sealing Technologies presents a 3D waveguide antenna for automotive radar, which features high-precision metallized plastic components with robust coatings. It was developed for ADAS and autonomous driving and ensures high reliability, minimal attenuation, and improved thermal management. The product supports various radar sizes and enables cost-effective manufacturing. Freudenberg offers comprehensive development support from RF design to series qualification, utilizing process simulations and material expertise. The latest cutting-edge solutions in the areas of gaskets, cell fixation elements, thermally conductive gap fillers and materials, pressure control elements, connectors, cooling tubes, and complete integration of sensors into connectors will also be on display. In addition, FST also develops components for lithium cells, such as internal cell gap fillers. These solutions contribute to the realization of a battery-powered world by providing heat management and tolerance compensation elements for greater safety and reliability.

The Freudenberg subsidiary SurTec will also be in attendance. It develops, manufactures and markets tailor-made specialty chemicals for surface treatment. The company supplies global solutions for Industrial Parts Cleaning, Metal Pre-treatment, Functional Coatings and Electroplating.
