The Battery Cell Caps for prismatic cells combine sealing and engineered plastics expertise with stamping technology to ensure a long service life. Advanced, high-performance automation systems were developed and implemented in-house to meet the requirements of large-scale production. The Envelopes in Prismatic Battery Cells protect the cell stack during installation and provide electrical isolation from the aluminum housing. While polypropylene or PET foils are the industry standard, Freudenberg Sealing Technology's unique approach uses nonwoven materials, offering significant technical advantages over standard foils.
