Bonn, Germany | July 10-11, 2019
Last year, the international VDI conference “transmissions in vehicles” became “Dritev” (“DRIvetrain Transmission Electrification in Vehicles”). The organizers were responding to a change in the world of transmissions: “With the electrification of the drivetrain, the transmission can only be developed as part of an overall system.”
The heart of the conference is still its renowned technical program. It reflects the current challenges in the advanced and series development of transmissions, hybrids and electrified powertrains. Dritev 2018 attracted about 1,500 participants from more than 15 countries, and more than 100 international exhibitors highlighted their products and services along the value creation chain. Current challenges and opportunities for new developments were described in about 80 technical presentations.
Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) is taking the complexity and importance of transmissions into account. With solutions that minimize friction and reduce weight, FST has developed far-reaching innovations for manual, hybrid, dual clutch and advanced automatic transmissions. Whether the innovation is a low-friction Quantum seal or a piston accumulator, the Freudenberg product line meets automakers’ desires for reductions in fuel consumption and vehicle weight while providing extraordinary dependability and a long operating life.
Volker Schroiff, Head of Technology Management at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, will be at the co-located EDrive conference to talk about EMI shielding for plastic housings for e-cars. The presentation will start on Thursday July 7 at 3:15pm in room Bangkok.
Freudenberg’s experts are looking forward to your visit to Stand 29.
