This allows for comprehensive and continuous docu- mentation. For an OEM (Original Equipment Man- ufacturer), the individual packaging has another important advantage. When seals are resold to MRO custom- ers (Maintenance, Repair and Opera- tions), they do not need to be repacka- ged. Depending on the order quantity, the individually packaged seals can be combined in one shipment. For particularly hygienic applications, we offer our customers a washing ser- vice. It includes thorough, reliable cleaning of seals after production, so that even the smallest impurities or particles are removed. In order to pro- tect the purity, we recommend subse- quent individual packaging. Especially when seals are not immedi- ately installed, but put into storage, con- tamination can occur which may then be introduced into the process. Freuden- berg offers the possibility to create cus- tom packaging. For example, we provide the bags with logo, article and batch numbers and other individual informa- tion. Thus, the individual package not only fulfills the purpose of protection against soiling and contamination, but also helps to track components up to the seal and thus comply with the pre- scribed documentation requirements.
