Wipers protect pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders from contaminants

In pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders, wipers protect the interior of the cylinder against external contaminant, as the cylinder rod is retracting. Freudenberg Sealing Technologies offers the correct wiper for every kind of cylinder and application. These wipers offer maximum reliability and operating life, and can be customized with or without metal reinforcement, or as a double lip wiper with or without pressure relief.

Maximum protection through precise adjustment

Primary and secondary seals as well as the guides of modern sealing systems require reliable protection the use of wipers. Dirt, dust, moisture and other environmental influences must not contaminate the operating medium and must above all be kept away from the pressure-loaded sealing edges and other contact zones.

The DMRW 2 from Freudenberg Sealing Technologies stands at the pinnacle of protection and reliability under extreme operating and environmental conditions. It is a double lip wiper that is equipped with both metal reinforcement and pressure relief.

Its material is advanced. The DMRW 2 is made from a new polyurethane developed by Freudenberg Sealing Technologies that has outstanding wear resistance, high chemical resistance and broad temperature range capabilities.
