Freudenberg Sealing Technologies demonstrates its technical expertise here as well. The aviation industry needs safety, performance and innovation from dependable seals – at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +1,100°C. Low-temperature materials and fire-resistant products meet the industry’s requirements. The ongoing demand for faster, safer and more efficient airline travel requires continual innovation. That’s why the aviation sector it is striving for improved performance, greater environmental protection, operating efficiency, and reductions in weight and costs. This involves the use of fuel-conserving engines with reduced sulfur dioxide emissions. Today’s aircraft were conceived in such a way that they can fly at greater altitudes at correspondingly lower temperatures to save fuel. And their turbines increasingly use lean, environmental friendly fuel mixtures. That means the turbines function more efficiently, but at higher operating temperatures. Freudenberg Sealing Technologies is one of the most capable seal manufacturers worldwide and offers a global service and support network in addition to a wide-ranging portfolio of products.
